Thank you everyone that attended the October DARUG meeting.

During the meeting I showed how to write a macro that would take values from an Occupancy schedule (based on rooms) and put those values in shared parameters that were in a room tag.

Introducing the NEW Dynamo & API Revit Users Group in Southern California

Welcome to the brand new Revit users group specializing on teaching Revit users how to customize and program Revit using Dynamo and the Revit API.

The first meeting (in October) will be an introduction to creating macros in Revit using the API and C# by Troy Gates.

The second meeting (in November or December) will be an introduction to creating Dynamo scripts by Marcello Sgambelluri.

Then starting in January 2016, we will start having hands-on meetings each month with a format of part lecture and part lab. So you will want to bring your laptops so you can get hands on experience and leave the meeting with a macro or script that you can use in your office and on your projects.
